FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt Reports To:  Site Management Work Schedule: Varies Date Approved:  May 30, 2023         POSITION SUMMARY: Completes and assigns scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges; Mentors, trains and develops other personnel assigned to assist in maintenance and repair activities.   Performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance and basic adjustments on pre-conditioned air (PCA) units.

Completes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges; Mentors, trains and assigns tasks of other personnel assigned to assist in maintenance and repair activities in the absence of Senior Technicians and/or Supervisors.

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on various types of mechanical equipment and facilities.

Under direct supervision/assistance, this position is responsible for providing customer service while directing passenger movement, handling passenger baggage and ensuring that customer baggage is directed to the appropriate locations from stations in the Airport bag room.

Completes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges; Mentors, trains and assigns tasks of other personnel assigned to assist in maintenance and repair activities in the absence of Senior Technicians and/or Supervisors.

Under indirect supervision/assistance, this position is responsible for the daily maintenance operation of the site.

The psoition will be for a duration of one year and will be onsite in Hobart, Indiana.

Sets up and operates a variety of machines. 

The Project Buyer position with Daifuku Intralogistics is a highly valued team member within our procurement team who helps manage our large group of vendors and purchases of materials, parts, and  services.  This position procures buyout components and installation services to maximize value and maintain project schedules by working with external vendor contacts and internal stakeholders to ensure Daifuku has the items we need to meet the project demands of our customers.
