Overview

Project Manager manages material handling automation projects involving a wide variety of equipment, machines, software, controls, and technologies. 

Responsibilities

  • Plans, executes, and completes projects involving structures, conveyors, machinery, robotics, AS/RS solutions, racking, controls, and software 
  • Responsible for the management of project financials, cost management and project resources 
  • Manage simultaneous projects in multiple locations 
  • Manages relationships and contracts with multiple customers and suppliers 
  • Creates and manages project records in accordance with company standards 
  • Follows Wynright standards for project execution  
  • Provides verbal and written updates for projects aligned to company standards 
  • Travels up to 50% 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or able to obtain within 1 year of hire 
  • Knowledge of material handling solutions, warehouse management/control systems (WMS/WCS), highly automated solutions, fulfillment and distribution center operations, and supply chain logistics preferred 
  • Experience with ASRS/Racking solutions, both free standing and clad rack facilities preferred 
  • Knowledge of working with projects involving machines, robotics, controls, and software 
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle 
  • Knowledge of business accounting and contracts management 
  • Microsoft Office Product Suite, Microsoft Teams, and advanced Microsoft Project skills 
  • Ability to handle multiple project assignments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced results-oriented environment 
  • Strong Leadership and Presentation skills 
  • Self-motivated, inquisitive, and detail-oriented 
  • Excellent verbal/written/listening communication skills 
  • Strong organization and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as required 
  • Japanese and/or Spanish Language Skills preferred
