POSITION SUMMARY This position will report to the Executive Manager, Safety and has responsibility for supporting safety initiatives in line with the corporate safety strategy, best practices, and safety metrics. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting site safety assessments, team training, and developing improvements for site environments and team behavior. The Safety Specialist will work closely with DSUS Safety Team, Site Leadership, and all DSUS Support Departments.

Completes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges; Mentors, trains and assigns tasks of other personnel assigned to assist in maintenance and repair activities in the absence of Senior Technicians and/or Supervisors.

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on various types of mechanical equipment and facilities.
