  • Overview

    Administers the company service award, education reimbursement and travel programs. Processes employee status changes and enters information into appropriate systems. Runs various reports, conducts employment verifications, files and/or scans employment records, searches employee files and furnishes information to authorized persons, and other duties as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    • Administers company service award, payroll self-service, education reimbursement and travel programs; process and respond to information and requests within programs.
    • Receive and process personnel related paperwork; input data into HRIS/payroll system.
    • Compile and prepare reports out of various systems; analyze data.
    • Process and respond to requests for information from internal and external departments/agencies.
    • Process and maintain personnel related documentation; scan documents into applicable system.
    • Conduct reference checks and employment verifications received by the department.
    • Maintain current knowledge of state and federal employment laws as they apply to position.
    • Punctual and regular attendance.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

    Experience: Two to three years related experience; Current knowledge and experience interpreting and applying federal and state laws and regulations as they apply to position.

     

    Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, E-Mail, HRIS, scanning and copying equipment.
