Responsibilities

Position Summary

 

The Traffic Clerk provides information on shipments to internal and external Automation Integration customers. Assists Traffic Coordinator with all shipping duties.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Scans, uploads, and electronically files shipping paperwork by project, network, delivery, and shipment reference.
  • Maintains organized electronic shipment records for internal retrieval, audit support, and compliance requirements.
  • Reviews shipping documentation for completeness and proper filing before final record retention.
  • Assists with maintaining shipping records in accordance with ISO, JSOX, and internal documentation procedures.
  • Supports KPI reporting through data entry, shipment log updates, and transportation reporting assistance.
  • Tracks and organizes shipping paperwork including BOLs, PODs, carrier paperwork, packing documentation, and freight records.
  • Assists in identifying missing, incomplete, or improperly filed shipment documentation.
  • Supports document retention and audit preparation for internal and external compliance reviews.
  • Maintains shipping logs, document trackers, and record control spreadsheets.
  • Works with Shipping, Traffic, Project Management, and Planning teams to obtain required documentation.
  • Assists with paperwork verification to ensure shipping records meet company control standards.
  • Supports JSOX documentation control procedures and internal recordkeeping requirements.
  •  Assists with transportation KPI record updates and reporting support as assigned.
  • Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of shipping and transportation records.
  • Performs general administrative support for Shipping and Traffic departments.

 

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Fedex Ship Manager, UPS Worldship, and Microsoft Teams
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language

 

ADA Requirements:

  • Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.

Job Conditions:

  • None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work).
