Job Summary
Leads the emulation of usually mid to large-sized complex material handling systems, developing, designing, engineering, and integration of multiple technologies. Works with software and controls engineering to develop 3D models for mid-sized automated projects. Reviews and monitors the work of other team members and mentors less-senior team members. Typically tasked to develop client deliverable solutions.
We are looking for Sr. Emulation Engineer I-III position.
| 1) Performs and leads emulation of usually mid to large-sized material handling systems, developing, designing, engineering, and integration of multiple technologies. 2) Reviews the work of other team members and mentors less-senior team members. 3) Collaborates with other engineers supporting the design of usually mid to large-sized end-to-end material handling systems that integrate multiple technologies such as sortation conveyors, automated storage and retrieval systems, robotics, voice and light picking systems, and supporting structures 4) Develops 3D emulation models to validate system equipment controls and system software for internal or client/customer use 5) Provides engineering support for emulation models 6) Performs data collection and analysis to define design criteria and validate designs 7) Identifies opportunities for process and product improvement 8) Works with vendors to develop emulation models or interface points 9) Provides feedback to multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients about design considerations, consequences, and results derived from the emulation 10) Travels up to 10% |
