Position Summary 

 

The System Operations team provides our clients with IT and first-level troubleshooting expertise for project Go-Live, ramp up, and stabilization. It consists of well-rounded employees who can accurately assess and facilitate solutions for onsite issues

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots first level issues onsite and facilitates solutions for second and third level issues.  
  • Finds applicable data, through SQL queries/software applications/server logs, to solve and/or support solutions/customer issues.  
  • Collaborate with customers to enable the successful operation of our automated solutions in their facilities   
  • Assists in writing site-specific documentation, such as failover processes, startup scripts, or change request ideas.  
  • Support the System Validation Team, Software Implementation, and the System Integration Team during commissioning and UAT whenever the opportunity arises.  
  • Other duties as assigned  
  • Some travel may be required (up to 10%)

Qualifications

  • Write, read, edit database queries and tabulate large sets of data 
  • Find trends or variances in tabulated data to troubleshoot issues 
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer issues via RDP session, understanding VM architecture 
  • Ability to understand warehouse operational processes and overall material flow 
  • Customer service mindset allowing communicate with internal & external customers & vendors at their sites and online  
  • Reasoning, analytical and critical-thinking problem-solving skills 
  • Self-motivated, proactive mindset to solve problems and issues before they occur 
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite and Windows operating systems 
  • Team-oriented & collaborative 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of WMS/WCS systems preferred 
  • Exposure to automation technology including conveyors, sorters, shuttles, or robotics is a plus  
  • Knowledge of computer components is a plus
  • High school graduate with 3 years’ experience working in IT related field 
  • Understanding and/or experience with SQL, DB structuring 
  • Networking tools and SSH client experience is a plus  
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Systems, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, Data & Analytics, or similar degree preferred
