Position Overview:

The Project Controller oversees projects by providing centralized organization, communication, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the financial services for designated clients or projects.
  • Performs financial research, manages the project’s financials, and monitors cash flow.
  • Reviews all project documents to ensure cost, schedule, and terms are met for audit compliance.
  • Provides centralized organization and communication for all participants.
  • Ensures any contract changes, such as financial, product, and schedule, are agreed upon, executed, and documented.
  • Maintains the accounts and ledger of each project.
  • Finalizes all forecasts, reviews final costs, and closes out the project.
  • Review and approve all purchasing for project materials and services

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or related industry experience in a finance-related field, such as accounting, finance, business administration, or economics
  • Experience in the material handling industry a plus
  • Contract administration or accounting experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple parties in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of vendor relationship management
  • MS Office skills with strong Excel skills; Microsoft Project a plus
  • Knowledge of Engineering Support, Project Management, or Purchasing preferred
  • Knowledge of SOX or JSOX preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team oriented and collaborative.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task.

 

Job Posting Min Salary

USD $50,000.00

Job Posting Max Salary

USD $55,000.00
