Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Parts and Sales Team Leader. Develop estimates and work with estimating group. Prospect and provide new business opportunities. Follow up on sales leads.

 

Other responsibilities

  • Selling Webb Chain Conveyor Products to Automotive and Industrial accounts.
  • Determine customer requirements, assist Estimating group, assist Inside Sales group and prepare proposals
  • Follow-up on sales leads and report in Salesforce.
  • Respond to customer’s problems and concerns
  • Develop part estimates as required.
  • Support other sales team members as required.
  • Work with Webb support groups and vendors as required.
  • Submit weekly sales updates and reports to Team Leader.
  • Achieve sales goals established by Team Leader.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities.
  • Manage and report expenses.
  • Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work together as part of a sales team.
  • Basic ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to be in an industrial factory environment every day, including extensive walking, standing, and climbing.
  • Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, in the USA and Canada.
  • Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Strong communication and social skills.
  • Must sign Daifuku’s Employee Invention, Non-Solicitation Agreement.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications.

 

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling material handling equipment in an industrial market.
  • Strong knowledge of Webb products and basic knowledge of conveyor applications.
  • Any technical college classes or mechanical trade school training could be beneficial.
