Position Summary

Develops and maintains e-commerce software, writes program specifications, creates reports, develops queries and stored procedures, and performs IT administrative tasks in support of ILUS e-commerce web sites.

• Performs full life-cycle development, testing, and maintenance of complex software projects, requests, and enhancements
• Ensures stability, efficiency and high performance of production e-commerce systems
• Develops and maintains Microsoft SQL Server queries and procedures
• Consults with users to analyze, understand, and automate business processes and needs
• Analyzes product feasibility and requirements and provides development time and cost estimates
• Monitors and adjusts program performance after implementation
• Performs regular disaster recovery drills to ensure reliability of production systems
• Follows JSOX requirements as directed by management

Minimum of an associate degree in software development or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5 years of progressive software development experience, including Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft programming technologies

Experience with the following technologies is required:

• net MVC, C#, tSQL, LINQ and RegEx
• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML
• Mercurial / GIT

Experience with the following technologies is a plus:

• AJAX, XSLT, Razor, Web API and VB.net
• Web Services, Google Analytics and SAP
• Microsoft Azure administration

Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Team-oriented and collaborative

Ability to work varied hours during scheduled maintenance windows or emergencies and be available as needed for technical emergency calls
