Position Summary

Picking sales orders by accurately identifying and pulling materials and delivering them to the requested destination.

Responsibilities

  • Picks parts of various size, shape, and weight according to sales orders
  • Places parts carefully in kits to avoid damage.
  • Delivers part orders to the requested packaging area.
  • Meets expectations for number and accuracy of sales orders picked.
  • May be required to use material handling equipment forklift, stand-up forklift, Big Joe, following all safety rules.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Reads and maintains information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records.
  • Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
  • Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience operating forklift equipment a plus
  • Experience with inventory a plus
  • Good computer skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and write English and use basic math.
  • Good organization skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
